The Broad River Theatre Company is dedicated to:

Entertainment: Bring quality theatre performances that appeal to a wide range of audience members who may not have access to such performances otherwise by:

• Producing classic plays and musicals.

• Producing contemporary plays and musicals.

• Producing original works.

Artist Development: Foster artistic growth for area performers, designers, writers, directors and staff in an encouraging and supportive environment by:

• Cultivating the creation of new works.
• Celebrating original ideas and concepts in a constructive environment.

Education: Through the Broad River Area Theatre Studio, provide classes, workshops and intensives that will educate interested individuals in all aspects of theatre by:

• Providing classes for children and youth to develop early interest in theatre arts.
• Providing adult classes from beginner to advanced levels in acting, directing, stage movement, improvisation, stage combat, design: costume, lighting, set, make-up and hair, dance, voice, and instrument

Outreach: Create awareness for the performing arts in our community by:

• Supporting local arts organizations.
• Participating in community events.
